Hollywood Is My Mother shows the true events of the development and timeline of Brit Phelan, the filmmaker, through a platform containing 16 video projects.

Like so many people, maybe even you, I moved to Hollywood to make something out of nothing. To embark on a journey of self-discovery. To explore the stuff of dreams- myself as a filmmaker, and a director. When this began, I couldn’t have imagined just how incredible it would be. So many interesting people, and so much creative energy. I saw it as an undiscovered world that went wildly beyond the dreams and ideas of Hollywood that I had kept while living on the East Coast.

My discoveries and adventures inspired me to create this, a platform consisting of 16 video projects that chronicle my journey as a filmmaker.
